Rangaraj Subbiah professionally known as Sathyaraj, is an Indian actor, producer, director and a media personality who predominantly appears in Tamil films. His 240 films also include works in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. He started his career in antagonistic roles and later played lead roles. He met with success through lead performances in Vedham Pudhithu, Nadigan, Amaidhi Padai, Periyar and Onbadhu Roobai Nottu. He also received acclaim for supporting roles in Nanban, Raja Rani, Baahubali, Baahubali 2 and Kanaa. He was also the director of the film Villadhi Villain, starring himself in three different roles. Sathyaraj was born as Rangaraj on 3 October 1954 to Subbiah, a doctor, and Nathambal, with two younger sisters, namely Kalpana Mandradiar and Roopa Senapathy. Sathyaraj is an ardent fan of M. G. Ramachandran and Hindi actor Rajesh Khanna. Sathyaraj completed his primary school education in St Mary’s Convent school, Coimbatore and later studied for tenth standard from Suburban High School, Ramnagar, Coimbatore. He went to Government Arts College, Coimbatore, for a Bachelor of Science degree in botany.
Asif Ali is an Indian actor and producer, who predominantly works only in the Malayalam film industry. Asif Ali started his film career with Shyamaprasad’s 2009 Malayalam Language film, Ritu. During the subsequent years Asif went on to act in critically and commercially successful films including the romantic thriller, Apoorvaragam, the road thriller film Traffic, the romantic comedy film Salt N’ Pepper and the period drama movie Ozhimuri, which got an official selection in the Indian Panorama section of the 43rd International Film Festival of India. Asif Ali in 2013 his film Honey Bee was one of the major hits in that year and his 2015 film Nirnayakam won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues. Asif Ali was born in Karikode, Thodupuzha, Idukki, India at 4 February 1986. He obtained graduation degree from the Marian College, Kuttikkanam in Business Administration. While studying Ali modelled for ads and worked as a video jockey.
Asif married to Zama Mazrin in 2013. They have two children named Adam Ali and Haya Ali.
