Network Test on Board, Desk, and Room Series Devices- Webex

During the initial setup wizard for your device, you will be given the option to do a network test. Once you have activated your device, you will also have the ability to do a Webex connectivity test.

You will be prompted to enter your Webex activation code as you are going through the steps of the setup wizard to register your device with Webex. The button labeled “Cloud Connection Test” will become available to you if it has been determined that you are unable to connect to Webex. Click on it to verify that the connectivity is working properly. If the test is unsuccessful, the network page will be accessible, and you will be able to view the status of the network in addition to the outcome of the test.

Once your device has been activated, the following steps need to be taken in order to conduct a Webex connectivity test:

  1. On the home screen, swipe right to access the menu, and then select Device Settings.
  2. Choose between the Problems and Diagnostics.
  3. Tap This is a connectivity test for Webex.

Because the tests are recorded in the application log, you will be able to submit them to your administrator or make advantage of the capability that allows you to send logs.
