- In academic writing, multi-line messages should be indicated by raw newlines, while ensuring that the content is wrapped inside quotation marks. Additionally, message data should be separated by columns. The sequence in which columns must be arranged is as follows:
- The user’s content does not provide any specific information to be rewritten academically.
- Please arrange the messages in chronological order based on their time stamps, with the earlier ones appearing first.
- It is imperative that all data be consolidated into a solitary, uncompressed file.
- The HTML content will be rendered in an escaped or omitted manner, except for hyperlinks that are included in the messages.

Please be aware that currently, it is only possible to import fundamental components such as channels, messages, and user accounts using CSV or text file formats. If the user intends to import data from another Slack workspace, it is recommended to utilize other import tools to ensure the importation of more comprehensive and advanced sorts of data.
Upload your file to Slack
- To access your workspace, just click on the name of your workspace located in the top left corner of your desktop screen.

Map user and channel data
After the completion of the file upload process, the subsequent step involves the mapping of data to appropriate locations inside the Slack platform.
- Firstly, users are required to review the menu in order to select the method by which they will map people to pre-existing members inside the Slack platform. In the event that the option to “Create & invite user” or “Create a disabled user, without inviting them” is selected, it is necessary to provide an email address.
- Select batch actions for all users. To apply actions, you can switch the toggle to “Unmapped” to target individuals who are not already mapped to existing users, or choose “All” to apply actions to all users. Alternatively, one may apply a specific action to each person by navigating to the “View users” section.

- Please select the “Save changes” option.
