Webex App | Share content in a meeting

When you exchange content in the Webex App, everyone in the meeting will have a much easier time seeing what is being talked about. Everyone has the ability to share content, but only one individual can do so at a time.

During a gathering, you have the ability to stop Sharing for all of the other participants if you are either the host or a cohost of the event. For more information, see Turn off content sharing for conference participants in the Webex app.

If you prefer, you can share only a portion of your Screen.

These capabilities are also available on some of the app’s calls.

When you are connected to a device at a desk or in a room, you have the ability to share information.

  • Choose the Share option while you are in a conference.
  • When you share material that contains audio or video, you should make sure to check the following options:

After the preview window has been hidden, you can bring it back into view by hovering your cursor over the control bar at the very top of the screen and clicking the down button.
