Southern Kaduna People's Union Urges Presidency To Focus More On Insecurity Than Agitators

 The quick intervention by the Nigerian Government by the arrests of political activists like Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigeneous People Of Biafra and Sunday Igboho of the Yoruba Nation Movements has surely sparked reactions from Nigerians around the world.

A group in northern Nigeria called Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has reacted to this development, while applauding the Federal Government of their effort to fight movements in Nigeria, the group also urged the Federal Government to use the same effort in capturing these people in fighting insecurities especially in the northern part of the country.


According to the national president of the union, the Federal Government should use the same tactics they deployed in fighting those agitators in fighting terrorism that has plauged the North for a long time now.

In his speech, he recounted several occasions where the Federal Government tried in fighting agitators around Nigeria like the capturing of Gana, a top terrorist in September 2020 and ESN leader, Ikonso in April 2021 and stating that the government that the government is unwilling in restoring peace in the north.

To him, compared to the killer herdsmen and bandits the agitation do not offer any security threat to the nation.
