To educate the occasion and even assist in writing the speech, Sandler relied on his troubles in the standup comedy industry, as he remarked during his interview on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast.

That speech was enjoyable to deliver, Sandler said, adding that he and director Jeremiah Zagar and writer Will Fedders collaborated on its creation. Additionally, it had a lot of parallels to my early days as a comic.
