Partner Track Season 2 Release Date: This year, everyone was talking about Netflix’s legal drama Partner Track, which went straight into the Top 10 on the service.

In the show, lawyer Ingrid Yun worked to become a partner at a top firm in New York City. Partner Track is based on the novel by Helen Wan. Ingrid is torn between her current boyfriend Nick Laren and the charming former one-night stand Jeff Murphy.

If you were interested in all 10 episodes like we were, you might be wondering if there will be a second season soon. So, do you think it will happen?

Is There Going to Be a Second Season of Partner Track?

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but there won’t be a second season of Partner Track. Variety said in November 2022 that there wouldn’t be any more episodes of the show, no matter how popular it was.

Fans are sad to hear the news, especially since Partner Track wasn’t listed on the streamer as a limited series (limited series are usually restricted to one standalone season).

One fan wrote, “It’s unfair that Partner Track was cancelled because we were just getting a taste of Ingrid Yun finding herself and rethinking her morals in a cutthroat world, and Z.”

In another way, “What does Netflix even mean by the word “success”? It did well at first. It has fans who can’t wait for S2. It has been praised by critics. People still find out about it and like it. They began making plans for a second season. There are more things to say. I’m really upset.”

Partner Track Season 2 Release Date

We don’t know anything about a possible second season of Partner Track right now, but we hope to hear good news soon.

Bradley Gibson also wants more episodes. Like, a lot.

The actor said, “I hope the show keeps going” (via ScreenRant). “Season two, please, please, please. People want it, and so do we. I think that if it’s not racism in the workplace, there are so many other things that happen in the workplace that we should probably talk about, and I hope we do. I think the best thing about Partner Track is that you get a great show with great, hot people.

“We get romance, but we also get moments that teach us something or make us think about things that are going on in our society. Whether it’s racism, sexism, or homophobia, the list goes on and on.

“So I hope we keep talking about racism, but I also hope we keep talking about other things that are so important to talk about.”

When it started on August 26, the streaming service usually gives a 28-day window to see how well it does and how many people use it before deciding whether to keep going or not.

We missed that deadline, and we’re still waiting.

Partner Track did make it into the top 10 on Netflix in the UK, and it also rose up the charts in mainland Europe, Canada, and the US, which could be a good sign for the future. Let’s hope the bean counters at Netflix agree.

So, let’s hope that the series, which is based on a book by Helen Wan, gets to come back for another season, since the first one went so well. We’re not very good at lawyer jokes, sorry!)

What Will Happen in Season 2 of Partner Track?

Just when you thought things couldn’t get any more complicated, Ingrid found out that Jeff Murphy had stopped her from becoming a partner at Parsons Valentine & Hunt.

It looks like her fierce competition has caught up with her in a big way. She has worked hard to move up in the ranks despite xenophobia, sexism, and just plain old bloodlust on the part of her competitors, but it looks like the sharks are still in the water.

None more so, she thinks, than Jeff, with whom she has had an on-and-off relationship and with whom she cheated on her boyfriend Nick during the first season.

But when he had the chance to get ahead of his competitors, he took it. He told the partners that she had been arrested before, which broke their trust in her and made them not want to work with her.

When it was first said, she went to Marty because she thought it was because she was Korean, but he told her the truth about Jeff’s betrayal.

This love story is going to become one of the best ones in the future.

If we look at the reviews and scores critics and audiences have given so far, we would find that they range from mixed to positive. Nina Metz of the Chicago Tribune said that the show was “entertaining enough to keep you watching.” The San Francisco Chronicle called it “the perfect background noise.”

So far, critics have given a score of 56%, and audiences have given a score of 51%. IMDb gave the show a score of 6.8/10.
