The Wonder Years Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Season 1 Ratings, and More!!

The Wonder Years Season 2 Release Date: ABC has moved the start of The Wonder Year’s second season to the summer of 2023. The network says that a specific date for the show’s premiere will be announced later.

The comedy was supposed to come back in the middle of the season, but it wasn’t on ABC’s midseason schedule, which came out earlier today.

Even though there won’t be a second season for a while, ABC has added more guest stars.

The Wonder Years Season 2: About

The Wonder Years is an original coming-of-age comedy based on the same-named 1988 TV show. It tells the story of the Williams family in the late 1960s. The series is told from the point of view of Dean, a creative 12-year-old who is growing up in a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama. Along the way, he makes friends, laughs, and learns lessons.

Don Cheadle plays Dean Williams as an adult and narrates The Wonder Years. Elisha “EJ” Williams plays Dean Williams, Dulé Hill plays Bill Williams, Saycon Sengbloh plays Lillian Williams, Laura Kariuki plays Kim Williams, Julian Lerner plays Brad Hitman, Amari O’Neil plays Cory Long, and Milan Ray plays Keisa Clemmons.

Storyline and Cast of “The Wonder Years”

In the most recent episodes of The Wonder Year’s first season, Brad gets over his nerves and works on his speech for his bar mitzvah. After that, Dean stops being friends with Keisa when Charlene tells him he can’t have other girlfriends.

Later, when Dean loses his spot as the first saxophone player in the school band, Bill puts pressure on him to get it back. On the other hand, Dean’s plan to ask Keisa to the Valentine’s Day dance falls through when another boy asks her out first.

Lillian and Bill make Kim sign up for a Big Sister program so she can have extracurricular activities for her college applications.

What’s the Point of This TV Show?

The Wonder Year is a TV show on the ABC network that was based on the original 1988 series. Don Cheadle, Elisha “EJ” Williams, Dule Hill, Saycon Sengbloh, Laura Kariuki, Julian Lerner, Amari O’Neil, and Milan Ray all play roles in this version.

The show is about a black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama, in the late 1960s. It is told from the point of view of 12-year-old Dean Williams, who is very creative. As an adult, Dean tells the story.

Ratings for Season One

The first season of The Wonder Years averaged a 0.42 rating in the 18-49 age group and 2.36 million viewers in the live+same day ratings. Even though these numbers don’t include delayed or streaming viewing, they give a very good idea of how well a show is doing, especially when compared to other shows on the same channel.
