4-piece powerhouse seconds thoughts have released an anthemic new single ‘how would you know.’ Drums smash through the mix, whilst a bass line grooves in between. On top chorus-soaked guitars ebb and flow between each other, whilst infectious vocals lines lie on top.

Discussing the release the band explains: “The song is really about people not respecting what you think or want to do. People often think they know what’s best for you, but often it can leave you sad and unfulfilled. It’s about following your own path and doing things that are important to you and you’re passionate about.”

‘how would you know’ is the perfect follow-on from their recent EP ‘Nicotine Stains’, with carefully crafted vocal lines, singable melodies, infectious guitar work, and upbeat jovial rhythms. The band borrows from contemporary influences such as Swim School and Bombay Bicycle Club whilst being reminiscent of the likes of The Beautiful South and The Housemartins. The end result is timeless bomb-proof bangers that are purpose-built for festival stages. The single is the first release from the band’s upcoming ‘Fluke’ EP.
