[PHOTOS] Mudavadi's daughter weds longtime Kikuyu boyfriend alongside Murathe's son

Maryanne Mudavadi, the daughter of Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, is no longer available for marriage.

On Saturday, August 19, Maryanne got married to lawyer Nyaga Karanja in a traditional ceremony at her father's house in Mululu village, Vihiga County.

In pictures that were posted online, the groom dressed to match the bride's stunning figure-hugging gown, donning a pair of slim-fitting black slacks and a shirt with a hint of green.

The groom's crew dressed in green trousers and shirts to go with the ceremony's African theme.

The son of Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe, Davidson Wakairu, was prominently featured in the groom's lineup. The brothers and friends of the bridegroom were also featured in the lineup.

As he delivered his daughter over to his in-laws, who lived in the central area and were dressed in their traditional tawny brown costumes, Mudavadi put on an expensive broken suit.

At a nearby bank, Maryanne works as a human resources officer.

In October of last year, her father was appointed to President William Ruto's Cabinet as a result of Kenya Kwanza's victory in the fiercely disputed general election.
