Patent №:11711190 (July 25, 2023) – Method for transmitting DMRS for PSCCH in connection with NR V2X, and synchronization. The first device selects a synchronization source, acquires synchronization, and then transmits synchronization-related signals and information for the second device to decode and utilize the physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) using the PSSCH DMRS.

Patent №:11711677 (July 25, 2023) – Method and apparatus for transmitting PSFCH in NR V2X. The first apparatus receives PSFCH resource information from the base station, receives PSSCH from the second apparatus, and then sends back the PSFCH related to the received PSSCH to the second apparatus using the specified resource block.

Mr. Gulati received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2004 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2008 and 2011, respectively.

From 2004 to 2006, he was employed as a Hardware Design Engineer at Texas Instruments, India.

Since 2011, he has been employed as a Senior Systems Engineer at Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, CA.

Patent №:11711154 (July 25, 2023) – Method of reporting RSSI measurements in an unlicensed band and related apparatus.

A user equipment receives configuration information for measuring the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) of a signal on an unlicensed frequency. It samples the signal at specified intervals, calculates statistics within a statistical window, obtains an RSSI value statistical result, and reports it to a base station.

Yoshinori Osakabe

Patent №:11707933 (July 25, 2023) – Image recording apparatus.

The image recording apparatus has a cartridge installing unit for multiple ink cartridges. The unit includes a base that aligns the cartridges in a first direction. A moving force applying unit can move an ink cartridge from its installed position to a separate removal position along a direction that includes a component of the first direction. Additionally, there’s a regulating unit that controls the movement of the ink cartridge between the installation and removal positions. The moving force-applying unit operates when the regulating unit releases the ink cartridge.

Jiayin Zhang

Senior Engineer at Huawei.

Mr. Zhang is a senior engineer at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. He received his B. S in communication engineering in 2003 and his M. S in signal processing in 2006 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Jiayin joined Huawei in February 2006 where he focused on the studies of modulation and MIMO technologies for beyond 3G systems. Currently, he is working on the standardization of distributed antenna systems in 3GPP.

Xin Zhou

Mr. Zhou received a master’s degree in computer science from Fudan University, in 2002. He worked with Intel Lab China as a senior researcher until 2016.

He is currently the product general manager of UISEE Corporation. His research interests include machine learning, big data and privacy.

Patent №:11709349 (July 25, 2023) – Optical imaging lens assembly.
