This premier airline has been wholly owned by the States of Guernsey since nationalization in the year 2003. The airline provides passenger and freight services to a host of locations. Aurigny Check-In Information

The Aurigny web check-in service opens 7 days before flight departure and closes 3 hours before departure time for most flights. To initiate the online check-in process, you have to go to the airline portal home page, search for the “Check-In” tab, and click on the same. Go on to enter details including your “Booking Reference Number” and “Surname” in the given fields and click the “Check-In” tab. If you are checking in from the London Gatwick airport, you can start checking in 2 hours and 30 minutes before flight departure. The deadline for Baggage Drop is 45 minutes before departure time and Security measures is 30 minutes before departure.

Aurigny Seat Selection

Passengers can reserve their seats on Aurigny flights via the “My Booking” section appearing on the home page before they check in. Seat selection is chargeable depending on your fare class and seat type. If you purchase a seat, your boarding pass will contain the related details. Upon not pre-purchasing a seat, you will be allotted a seat as per availability. Light Fare travelers can select among Extra Legroom seats, Priority seats, and Standard seats and pay the applicable charges. As a Smart Fare passenger, you can book Standard seats and Priority seats at no cost while Extra-Legroom seats are chargeable. Aurigny Flight Changes

The Aurigny flight change policy varies as per your fare type. The airline allows passengers to make flight changes up to 1 hour before flight departure. Refer to the “Fees and Charges” section on the airline web portal to check the costs for flight changes. You can change your Aurigny flight reservation online only if you have booked via the website. You can save money by making flight changes online for the airline charges for any changes in reservations initiated through the Contact Centre.

Light fare ticket holders have to pay a change of booking fee and the fare difference. You also cannot claim a refund or transfer your prepaid seat fee if you modify your flight reservations.

With a Smart Fare or a Flexi fare, you will be liable only to pay the fare difference upon changing your route; a change of booking fee is not levied on these fares.

Aurigny Flight Cancellations

Aurigny could cancel flights because of extraordinary circumstances. In such cases, the airline makes alternative travel arrangements or the passenger is entitled to claim a refund.

If you have booked your Aurigny flight ticket online and want to cancel your booking, you can access the airline website to do so. Find your booking and follow the system instructions to cancel your reservation online. In case you do not want to cancel all passengers in the same booking, call the Aurigny UK Reservations Desk number. If you cancel a refundable fare, you will be informed about the refund amount; the airline does not offer refunds on non-refundable tickets.

Aurigny Refunds

Aurigny offers refunds on refundable fares and no refunds are provided on non-refundable fares. The Carrier issues refunds on the unused portion of the ticket. Refunds are made to the person in whose name the ticket has been issued or the person who purchased the ticket. Passengers have to surrender the ticket when claiming a refund. Aurigny issues a full refund on refundable fares to the original payment mode and in the same currency within 10 working days. Aurigny reserves the right to deduct a reasonable cancellation fee or service charge on the refund amount if you cancel your reservation. The airline could refuse a refund if you submit your application after the ticket validity expiry.

Whether you want to make flight changes, check-in online, add baggage, apply for refunds, or cancel your flight, the Aurigny Manage My Booking platform allows you to do so. Through this online service, you can also update your contact information, check your flight status, and reserve your seat after booking your ticket. Only enter some mandatory details such as “Booking Reference Number” and “Surname” and you can view your flight itinerary and manage your booking online. Find your Booking Reference number, a 6-character code, within your confirmation email.

Aiurigny Baggage Allowance

Aurigny computes your baggage allowance depending on your fare class.

Aurigny permits all passengers to bring 1 item of hand baggage with maximum dimensions of 55cm * 36cm * 20 cm and 1 handbag measuring up to 35cm * 25cm * 20cm. The maximum combined weight of both pieces must not exceed 10 kg. The maximum weight of each item of hold baggage has to be within the 20 kg and 23 kg range.

With a Light Fare ticket, you can purchase up to 3 items of hold baggage when you book your ticket or through the “Manage” tab.
Smart Fare passengers can bring 1 item of hold baggage up to 23 kg free of cost. You can purchase 2 more items of hold baggage when you check in or via the “Manage” section.

As a Flexi Fare ticket holder, you are entitled to 2 items of hold baggage at no cost. The airline allows you to purchase 1 item of hold baggage more to your booking.
