Children Travelling Alone

The airline executives provide information about the Unaccompanied Minor Service policy of the airline, as well. This service is mandatory for children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. For children between 12 and 17 years of age, parents have to request for this service. As part of this service, the child is the responsibility of the airline officials from the departure airport until the destination airport.

Parents have to share details of the name and contact details of the person who will receive the child at the destination. Parents or guardians are required to provide this information when checking in for the flight. Additionally, they have to stay at the airport until the flight departs. More so, at the destination airport, the guardian or parent should come on time to take the child.

Air Baltic Check-In Information

Passengers can check in to their Air Baltic flight via various ways. Online check-in, mobile check-in, Twilight check-in, Self-service airport kiosks, and airport check-in counters are among the various methods of checking in to Air Baltic flights.

Air Baltic offers free online check-in service for flights operating out of London. As a GREEN, GREEN Plus, BUSINESS or CLASSIC ticket holder who has reserved their seat in advance, you can start checking in 5 days, or 118 hours, before departure time. GREEN Plus and GREEN ticket holders without seat preferences can check in from 36 hours before flight departure. You can even check in at the airport airBaltic check-in counter, although the airline charges a fee of EUR 35 per passenger in some cases for airport check-ins. It is recommended that you reach the airport early to complete the check-in and boarding procedures.

Air Baltic Seat Selection

Air Baltic offers the Seat Reservation service for passengers. The airline has 3 seat categories: Extra Legroom, Priority, and Regular. You can opt for twin or triple seating, middle seats, aisle seats, and window seats.

GREEN Plus and Green fares charge a fee for seat selection. On the other hand, BUSINESS and CLASSIC ticket holders and airBaltic VIP members can select their seats in advance at no cost. Travelers can select their seats during the booking process or at the time of online check-in, via the Manage My Booking platform, or at any airBaltic ticket office. If you do not reserve your seat in advance, you will be assigned a seat at the time of check-in.

Air Baltic Flight Changes

Depending on your ticket type, the airline flight change policy differs. You can make changes to your airBaltic reservation via the airline official portal. Once you sign in to your account, go to the “Flight Change” link and make the required changes. You have to pay the fare difference if the new flight is more expensive than the original flight. After making the payment, you will receive communication regarding the revised flight details. You can also talk to the airBaltic representatives via phone to change your current booking. If your proposal is eligible for reviews, you have to pay the applicable charges before the changes are approved.

Air Baltic Flight Cancellations

The airBaltic flight cancellation policy varies as per the fare type. If you cancel your airBaltic reservation within 24 hours of making your booking and 7 days before flight departure, the airline offers a full refund. After the 24-hour grace period, the fare conditions apply. You can cancel your airBaltic booking online via the “Manage Booking” platform. Start by entering your booking details on the link and view your booking. You then have to tap the “Cancel Flight” link and follow the flight cancellation procedure. After verifying your flight cancellation, you will receive all the details you require to obtain a refund. In case you cannot cancel your flight online, you must contact the airline staff to do so.

If airBaltic cancels your flight because of extraordinary situations, you will receive compensation.

Air Baltic Refunds

In cases of revoked flights, passengers can claim a refund. However, in the case of canceled flights, you will be refunded as per your fare conditions. Business fares are fully refundable while only tax refunds are given for Business Light reservations, when flights are canceled. For Classic fares, cancellation fees apply, although customers can request for refunds via money or gift cards. If you have a Green or Green Plus ticket, you should apply for a refund within the validity period; otherwise, you will be eligible only for a tax refund.

To claim your refund, you should access the online refund request form on the airBaltic official portal and submit the same after providing the requisite information.
