Kam Air is the first Afghan private commercial airline and was founded in the year 2004. Zamarai Kamgar, an Afghan businessman, is the owner and founder of Kam Air. Kam Air flies to domestic destinations across Afghanistan and international destinations – covering the Middle East, South Asia, and Central Asia. The hub of Kam Air is traced to Kabul International Airport in Kabul, which is the capital of Afghanistan. Because of the collapse of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the civilian services in Afghanistan were suspended on 15th August 2021.
