3. Cold Drinks and Karrah: Carbonated beverages and karrah (a locally brewed alcoholic drink) are strictly prohibited. It is essential to stay hydrated, but opt for healthier alternatives like water and herbal tea instead.


4. Halwai Items and Sweets: Traditional Indian sweets such as halwa, jalebi, gulab jamun, laddu, khoya burfi, rasgulla, and all other halwai items are not permitted. These sweets are often heavy and rich in sugar and fats, which can be challenging to digest during the yatra.

For beverages, choose herbal tea, coffee, low-fat curd, sharbat, lemon squash/water, low-fat milk, fruit juice, vegetable soup, mineral water, and glucose in standard packet form.


5. Sweets and Dry Fruits: Include kheer (rice/sabudana), white oats (daliya), figs, raisins, apricots, and other roasted/raw dry fruits in your provisions. These items provide natural sweetness and essential nutrients.


Preparation and Physical Fitness
