Role

Cricket Wireless is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior-Release Mgmt professional with a strong emphasis on IT Change Management to join our IT Operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with our scrum teams and vendors to review, plan and approve systems changes. Additional duties include process development and enhancement, process training and support, and promoting the adoption of new tools. In this crucial role, you will ensure the successful deployment of new and updated IT systems and applications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve change requests.
  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of IT Change Management processes empowering the delivery teams while ensuring alignment with industry best practices, organizational goals and SOX compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Change Management framework, including change request templates, impact assessment tools, and reporting mechanisms, collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess change requests and conduct impact analysis.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on Change Management best practices and processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the Change Management process to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall satisfaction, leveraging trends, analyses, and smart risk taking.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

· Requires 5-8 years experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex IT changes, including software releases, infrastructure updates, and configuration modifications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, centered on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors in a technical IT environment.
  • Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or related field.

· Telecom industry experience is preferred but not required.

  • IT Compliance knowledge.

Our Senior – Release Manager earns between $106,100 and $159,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
