About the Role…

This is a full-time permanent opportunity which allows strong exposure to the Group Finance function and senior leadership teams. If you are a qualified accountant with experience in a similar financial reporting, analysis, and planning role and you are ready for a new role where you can excel within a dynamic business this role is perfect for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and distribute weekly and monthly financial reports summarizing group results.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in your reports.
  • Provide insightful analysis and commentary on key financial metrics.
  • Lead the preparation of quarterly investor presentations, showcasing the group’s financial performance, achievements, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Maintain and update the group’s databook, a comprehensive repository of financial information and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure easy accessibility and data integrity within the databook.
  • Manage the FP&A reporting Team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Work closely with country finance teams to ensure alignment between group reporting and local financial reporting.
  • Coordinate data collection and validation processes with regional counterparts.
  • Leverage SAP planning tools and systems for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with the project team to enhance and optimize reporting processes from SAP Planning & Analytics Tool.
  • Participate in continual improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining reporting processes, enhancing data quality, and increasing efficiency.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior management, responding promptly to urgent information needs.
  • Manage the investor relations and group FP&A inboxes, promptly addressing inquiries and requests from external investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Continually review published FP&A best practice to support the evolution of EG FP&A.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
  • Strong proficiency in SAP or similar financial planning tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and with international teams.
