Job description: Our large crypto company is looking for two full-time Senior Associate, BSA/AML Compliance. This is a remote contract position.

Contract Duration: 9-Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of technology experience in a data analytics or a systems engineering role at a large consulting, financial institution, technology or a fintech firm
• Excellent analytical skills; advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python and data visualization
• Prior development experience in at least one of the following areas: Transaction Monitoring System, Customer and Transaction Screening, KYC and Risk Rating
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment;
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Redash
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC): requirements development, system design, development, testing and production launch.
• Ability to successfully collaborate in a cross-functional environment under minimal supervision.
• Data-driven approach to problem solving
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (including writing formal documentation)
• A quick learner and a team player who enjoys building and doing hands-on work
• Keen interest in learning about crypto and building innovative solutions

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with and/or keen interest in cryptocurrency
• Experience on engineering teams in the finance or regulatory space
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and GitHub
• Experience with dashboarding tools and report generation, such as Looker
• Professional certifications (e.g. CAMS, CFCS, CFE, and CRCM)
• Experience in a start-up or high growth environment
• Model Validation and working with external examinations
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, including SCRUM

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Building critical components of Sanctions screening technology and other Compliance infrastructure working in a cross-functional dynamic environment
• Identifying and fixing production bugs and building enhancements requested by end-users in the Compliance and Operations teams
• Developing automated testing and QA pipelines to ensure consistent and accurate data
• Designing and building self-service dashboards and reports using visualization tools
• Conducting below-the-line (BTL), system sensitivity and threshold testing
• Writing clear documentation for regulators, internal audit and external examiners
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver solutions and under minimal supervision
• Translating complex reporting requests into clear and actionable requirements
