The Senior Paid Media Creative Strategist is responsible for leading the development and execution of creative strategies for paid media campaigns. They leverage their expertise in paid media channels, platforms, and industry trends to drive impactful and innovative campaigns. The Senior Paid Media Creative Strategist collaborates with clients, cross-functional teams, and external partners to create compelling and high-performing ad creatives. They analyze campaign performance, conduct market research, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize campaigns. The Senior Paid Media Creative Strategist also mentors and guides junior team members, ensuring the delivery of exceptional creative work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of creative strategies for paid media campaigns across various channels, including search, display, social media, and video.
  • Collaborate with clients, account managers, and data analysts to define campaign objectives, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and audience insights to inform creative strategies and ensure campaign differentiation.
  • Create compelling ad creatives, including copy, visuals, and video assets, tailored to the specific requirements and best practices of each paid media platform.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CR), Cost Per Click (CPC), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement, including A/B testing, ad placement adjustments, and creative refinements.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to produce high-quality ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and resonate with target audiences.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform updates to ensure the agency remains at the forefront of paid media advertising innovation.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior creative strategists, offering feedback, sharing best practices, and supporting their professional development.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and actively participating in client meetings to present creative strategies and results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, media planners, and account managers, to align creative strategies with overall campaign objectives.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes, workflows, and tools to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and the quality of creative deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing and advertising, with a focus on paid media creative strategy, preferably in a global agency setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid media channels, platforms, and best practices, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, display networks, and programmatic advertising.
  • Strong understanding of campaign performance metrics, such as CTR, CR, CPC, ROAS, and their impact on campaign optimization and ROI.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, to derive actionable insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities, with a proven track record of developing successful ad campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Advanced skills in crafting persuasive ad copy, designing visual assets, and editing video content for digital advertising purposes.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior in the digital advertising space.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field (preferred).
