It is penned by Lee Je-hwan and Delivery Driver’s illustrator, Yunkyun Lee. Though some speculations cite that the manga has been adapted from a novel, the author. The author seems to have been inspired by the incessantly increasing fondness of webtoons blending in the reincarnation and revenge tropes.

Elaborating on its self-explanatory title, Return Of The Bloodthirsty Police portrays a compelling tale fueled by vengeance. It revolves around the life story of an assassin, Bi-Gwan, who’s betrayed by his organisation. He has dedicated all his life to the cause of Hwaguksa and has propelled the growth of the organisation, keeping aside his conscience and concerns. But despite his unwavering loyalty, the Lespedeza brothers betrayed him. He was summoned and exorcised brutally by the hands of his team members, whom he once considered family.

However, the bold and brash Be-Gwan isn’t met with his true end. He is reincarnated as a stern police officer, Kim Gyeongsoo, with his memories of his past life intact. Bi-Gwang as Gyeongsoo swears vengeance on Hwaguksa and decides to crush the organisation from the inside out.

Though Gyeongsoo camouflages his true identity, he doesn’t shy away from announcing his mission of destroying the organisation openly.
