Their discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in industry, agriculture, food security, and legal frameworks, expressing mutual interest in elevating relations between Minsk and Kampala.

They also addressed cooperation within the Non-Aligned Movement and preparations for the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Kampala in January 2024. Ambassador Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige met with Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI), to explore business collaboration possibilities.
They discussed cooperation between BelCCI and the Ugandan Embassy, including facilitating contact with Ugandan business associations for information exchange, business trips, seminars, forums, and participation in exhibitions and fairs in both countries. Uganda expressed interest in Belarus’ expertise in agriculture, particularly grain crop cultivation, and emphasized the importance of this knowledge for Uganda’s agricultural sector. Belarusian Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi cited successful economic commissions with other regional countries and invited Kizige to visit the Belagro international agricultural exhibition in Minsk. The discussions also covered manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, medical services, legal cooperation, and mutual support within international organizations.
