VIDEO : “Leaked ‘Jesus Is King 2’ Album by Kanye West & Dr. Dre Boasts Eminem, Snoop Dogg

The highly anticipated collaboration Album between rap legends Kanye West and Dr. Dre, originally intended as a sequel to Kanye’s 2019 gospel record “Jesus Is King,” has surfaced online ahead of its official release.

This leaked album comprises 15 tracks and showcases a star-studded ensemble of guest artists, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Anderson .Paak, A$AP Ferg, and Marsha Ambrosius.

“Jesus Is King 2” primarily consists of remixed versions of tracks from its predecessor, with songs like “Water,” “Everything We Need,” and “God Is” receiving enhanced makeovers crafted by Dr. Dre himself.

Additionally, the album includes fresh verses from Kanye and guest features, such as Dr. Dre and Anderson .Paak on “Closed On Sunday,” Travis Scott on “Hands On,” and Eminem on “Use This Gospel” – a track fans may recognize from DJ Khaled’s “GOD DID.”

Among the new, unreleased tracks are “This is the Glory” featuring Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, “Blood of the Lamb” with Pusha T, “L.A. Monster” featuring A$AP Ferg, and “Our King,” co-starring Dr. Dre and 2 Chainz.

Kanye West first announced “Jesus Is King 2” in November 2019, shortly after the release of the original album. He teased the collaboration with Dr. Dre by sharing a photo of them together in the studio.

During a Sunday Service in California the following month, Kanye expressed his admiration for Dr. Dre and humorously credited making a gospel album as the unexpected reason for their collaboration.

“Jesus Is King is my first clean album,” he stated. “I used to spend all my time trying to make my beats be mixed as good as Dr. Dre. Who knew all I had to do was do an album for God and then Dr. Dre would start mixing my beats? Spend your time on God, and he’ll handle the rest.”

Two years later, they unveiled an unreleased song called “Glory” in a Beats Studio Buds commercial. However, Kanye’s focus had shifted to his 10th studio album, “Donda,” which was released in August 2021.

This leak follows the recent appearance of another unreleased Kanye West album, “Donda: With Child,” which is an early version of his 2021 LP, containing a mix of reworked tracks from “Donda” and unreleased material, along with guest appearances from artists like Travis Scott, Pusha T, Big Sean, James Blake, and Sheck Wes.

For fans who prefer not to indulge in leaks, there’s good news – Kanye West is reportedly working on his 11th studio album. Described as a blend of “The College Dropout” and “The Life of Pablo,” this upcoming record features an “insane” lineup of collaborators.

Additionally, it was revealed that Kanye’s album includes “controversial but not antisemitic mentions of Jewish people,” as he seeks to move past the controversies surrounding his previous comments.

Earlier this month, Kanye debuted a new song at the Mowalola Spring/Summer 2024 fashion show in London, name-dropping luminaries like Frank Ocean, Solange, and celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang in his lyrics.
