Although fans loved to see Lana and her “Love Island” costar Ron Hall together, the series nine stars sadly called it quits earlier this month. The couple came in second behind Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan and split up only three months after leaving the villa.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple ended their relationship due to the long distance and busy work schedules. Ron is based in Essex while Lana lives in Manchester. A source told the outlet, “Lana and Ron really put everything into their romance and have tried to make it work for some time now.”

“Unfortunately, they have decided to separate, which is a decision they have made amicably and of course, they still remain good friends,” they continued. “Commuting from Manchester to Essex and back again whenever they wanted to spend time together, as well as managing their work commitments just proved too difficult.”
