Mother’s Day is this Sunday, meaning all moms and mom figures out there should be showered with love, support, flowers…or chocolates.

While tons of women will be observing the big day for the first time this year, we’re focusing on all the Hollywood stars who became moms since the last Mother’s Day. From Adrienne Bailon to Keke Palmer, all the superstars will debut as first-time mothers on May 14!

1. Adrienne Bailon & Israel Houghton

Although they have been married since 2016, Bailon and her Christian-singing beau made their debut as parents last August with the arrival of their son, Ever James. The power couple shared the shocking — but welcoming — news with their fans with an Instagram post that included a picture of them looking lovingly at their son.

The behind-the-scenes view was made even better through the caption, which they used to express their “joy and overwhelming love & gratitude” after several years of trying — and failing — to conceive. While the Baby boy is Bailon’s first child, she is the stepmother to Houghton’s other four kids from his previous relationship.

2. Bre Tiesi & Nick Cannon

Even though people have become accustomed to news of Cannon impregnating women faster than they can blink, it still came as a jaw-dropper when Tiesi welcomed her first child with him in July 2022.

The model, previously married to Johnny Manziel, welcomed her little boy Legendary Love Cannon through a “natural unmedicated home birth” that saw her baby daddy cutting the tot’s umbilical cord.

The Los Angeles-born beauty even captured the intimate moment on camera and distributed it online along with a trigger warning for those interested in her “real & raw natural birth experience.”

3. Gina Rodriguez-LoCicero & Joe LoCicero

The famed “Jane the Virgin” star welcomed her first child and son on March 19, and she has been in “newborn heaven“ since then. Even before the big event, Rodriguez had used every opportunity to gush about her pregnancy and her helpful husband, once claiming she was “so overjoyed” about the occurrence.

Despite that, the “Someone Great” star and her husband did not divulge their son’s name — Charlie Ray — until over a month after his arrival. Rodriguez-LoCicero announced her pregnancy on her 38th birthday on July 30, 2022.

4. Heather Rae El Moussa & Tarek El Moussa

Heather’s journey to motherhood, which seemingly began last July, culminated in the arrival of her first child with Tarek on January 31, 2023. The excited new mom shared the update in a joint Instagram post featuring a heartwarming snap of her and her husband cradling their bundle of joy. The doting parents penned under the image:

“Our baby boy is here 1.31.23. Mama & baby are happy, healthy, tired but doing well. Our hearts are so happy .”

Two weeks later, “The Flippling El Moussas” stars revealed, through another Instagram post, that their little boy’s name is Tristan Jay El Moussa. Heather is also the stepmom to Tarek’s two kids, whom he shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall (née Haack).

5. Hilary Swank & Philip Schneider

Although welcoming her twins — a boy and a girl — was not an “easy” feat, the experience was well “worth it” for Swank. To prove that point, the “Camp Wilder” actress showed off her newborns on Easter morning as they enjoyed watching the sunrise over the sea on her shoulders. 

The twins’ April 9th arrival was no doubt a surprise for the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” alum, who previously shared that their due date was April 16 — a day that holds much meaning for her. If they had arrived that day, they would have shared the same birthday with her dad Stephen Michael, who died in October 2021. Regardless of their arrival date, Swank could not be happier about her “miracle” babies.

6. Jenna Johnson & Val Chmerkovskiy

Johnson’s world forever changed when she held her first child, Rome, in her arms at the beginning of the year. As expected, the occasion was celebrated by her fans and fellow celebrities, including Tamar Braxton, who penned, “Omg, he’s here ,” under the announcement post.

Since then, the doting mom has given fans the occasional peak at some of her sweetest moments with Rome. The “Dancing with the Stars” contestant celebrated his four months on earth with an Instagram post, showing her appreciation for her “smooshy baby.”

7. Kaley Cuoco & Tom Pelphrey

Cuoco joined the list of new mothers with the birth of her daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on March 30. The duo’s happiness at achieving the feat was documented on social media, with many images showcasing each parent doting on the “new light” in their lives.

In her most recent update via her Instagram Story, the “The Big Bang Theory” alum told her fans that she had “finally found a baby wrap that’s easy to put on,” alongside a pic of Matilda resting on her chest.

The new mom initially announced that she was expecting a baby with her boyfriend last October after they made their first public appearance at screenwriter Greg Berlanti’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. 

8. Keke Palmer & Darius Jackson

Palmer introduced her baby boy, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, to her 12.5 million followers with clips and images of the newborn and a string of hilarious first-time parent write-ups, including the infamous Drake reference, “I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.”

The “Madea’s Family Reunion” child star first broke the news of her pregnancy in front of a nationwide audience during “Saturday Night Live” hosting duties in December. 

9. Kelly Osbourne & Sid Wilson

Sharon Osbourne became a fifth-time grandmother when her only daughter Kelly recently welcomed her first child with her boyfriend, Wilson. Although she did not divulge the exact date the “Fashion Police” alum gave birth to her son Sidney, the ecstatic granny gushed during an appearance on “The Talk” in January:

“[The birth was] so great, so great. She won’t let a picture go out of him, and I’m so proud of her.”

Speculation that Kelly had undergone labor first circulated last November when she posted a cryptic message that read, “Ok, here we go,” via her Instagram Stories.

10. Paris Hilton & Carter Reum

“The Simple Life” star told the world that she had secretly given birth to her newborn with an adorable shot that showed her cuddling him on January 16, 2023. Although the heiress has kept online posts of her child to a minimum, we do not doubt that the boy, named Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum, feels “loved beyond words” with his new family.

Hilton previously discussed the tot during an episode of her podcast, “This is Paris,” stating, “From the moment I laid eyes on him, my heart felt so full. I feel like my life is so complete now. I always wanted to be a mom.”

11. Rebel Wilson & Ramona Agruma

While many stars on this list carried their first babies themselves, Wilson opted to use a surrogate for hers. The Australian native announced her baby girl’s arrival in an Instagram post that came with the caption:

“I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…but [I] particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care.”

The girl, named Royce Lillian, was born on November 7, 2022, and the “Pitch Perfect” actress has taken her new role while co-parenting with her partner, Ramona Agruma.

12. Rumer Willis & Derek Richard Thomas

The eldest daughter of actor Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore confirmed the birth of her first child, Louetta Isely Thomas Willis, in a joint statement posted to Instagram. Like Tiesi, Rumer welcomed her magical daughter in an at-home birth on April 18, giving her parents more than they ever dreamed of. 

Many fans considered the news a much-needed breath of fresh air for the Willis family, who have been dealing with Bruce’s health struggles following his frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis in February.

13. Sharna Burgess & Brian Austin Green

Burgess has been over the moon since her heart took residence outside her body with the birth of her first child with her partner, Green. The Australian ballroom dancer updated her fans with an Instagram picture of the newborn holding his father’s forefinger, furnishing them with his name, Zane Walker Green, in the caption.

Burgess birthed the boy through a cesarean section, even though she had expected to welcome him through a vaginal process. While parenthood became a reality for her with Zane, her beau has four other sons from previous relationships.
