by Kay Posted on May 10, 2023 at

Teresa Giudice sure knows how to pick th them. Her new husband, Luis Ruelas, is being investigated for possibly violating state laws.

What In The Jen Shah Is Going On Here?

Twitter is abuzz with speculation that Ruelas is the next Jen Shah of the Real Housewives franchise. News dropped that Digital Media Solutions, Inc, the company Ruelas started and suspiciously stepped down from last year, is being investigated.

The Bravo Babes posted the attorney letter from Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP, the team of lawyers investigating the company. In an announcement released by the law firm, they explain what is happening.

“Glancy Prongay & Murray LLP (“GPM”) announces its investigation of Digital Media Solutions, Inc (NYSE: DMS) (f/k/a Leo Holdings Corp.) concerning the Company and its directors and officers’ possible violations of state laws.

The website lists Ruelas as the “Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Business Development.” This isn’t looking great.

Law Firm Warns Investors

The statement also warned those invested in the company to know what is happening.

“If you own Digital Media Solutions stock, would like to learn more about these claims, or have any questions concerning this announcement or your rights or interests concerning these matters, please contact Tom Kennedy of GPM.”

Some Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members were confused about the company when Ruelas started it last year after lousy luck with the previous company. Margaret Josephs told Jeff Lewis on his Sirius XM morning show that she was unsure of it and compared it from what she understood at the time to what Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Jen Shah was doing with her company.

This isn’t a great comparison seeing as fans of the show and beyond have watched Shah and her family go down in flames over fraud allegations. She is now serving 5.5 years for her part in a telemarketing scam.

Luis Ruleas Doesn’t Have Allies

The show has also proven that Ruelas and Giudice don’t have much support if something like this is to go down in Teresa’s case again. Her ex-husband Joe Giudice famously went to jail for money-related crimes and then got deported back to Italy.

He is now living in the Bahamas. Teresa also went to jail for the crimes and being associated with them, whether she knew what her husband at the time was doing or not. Josephs, Teresa’s sister-in-law, her brother Melissa and Joe Gorga, and all the other cast members except for Jennifer Aydin already feel weird about Ruelas and all his dealing.

They are vocal on the show about this.

Andy Cohen Is Concerned As Well

Naturally, when Ruelas revealed at last year’s reunion that he was asked. Step down from his job, the protective family over at Bravo wanted to know what he was doing to support Teresa and her “four beautiful daughters,”

Cohen had the entrepreneur on his Radio Andy show and immediately compared his and Shah’s companies. Ruelas insisted there was a significant difference but ultimately could not convince Daddy Andy.

Many fans remain unconvinced that Ruelas isn’t pulling a “Jen Shah” and comment accordingly. “Love that You’re on top of all the news! My money is on Henshaw 2.0,” suggested one follower.

Another follower noted that this is well-known in the business circles in New Jersey. “I’ve been saying it’s well known in some circles in NJ that Louie is a con man .”
