In her latest Instagram post, the 33-year-old former athlete put on a steamy display as she sat on a wooden fence post. She appears to be sitting on a cliff that looks overlooks the ocean in the distance.

Wherever it is, it looks like a pretty private place, as Nastia has completely ditched her bikini top as she sits her long blonde hair falling in damp waves over her shoulders. She is wearing a pair of purple bikini bottoms as she appears to check something on the phone screen she is holding in front of her.

In another photo, the 2009 Olympic all-around champion is wearing a black bikini as she stands on her tiptoes on the edge of a pool that overlooks a lush green valley. The sun is breaking through the clouds in the distance as she stands with her hands in front of her body as she turns toward the amazing sight.

In the caption of her post, Nastia wrote, “happy earth day from some of my favorite places on earth.” Nastia has limited captions on her post since some of her followers expressed concern that she is getting “too thin” but most followers who did comment loved her snaps!

The 2005 and 2007 World Champion on the balance beam began her Instagram carousel with a photo of her standing in the ocean in a lavish dress. The top of the dress is black, but quickly fades to a deep purple, a dark blue, and lighter shades of blue until it finishes off in a seafoam green.

“Wow, that dress is incredible!” one fan commented. “Gorgeee,” another follower wrote alongside a butterfly emoji and a blue heart emoji. “Yes, God does beautiful work!” a third fan exclaimed, seemingly agreeing with her caption.

Nastia Liukin Seems To Have Saved A Snap From Her ‘Special Forces’ Days!

In another photo, the 2005 World Champion on the uneven bars is wearing the gray sweatshirt, camo pants, and combat boots from her time on “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” The reality show featured a group of celebrities trying to survive demanding training exercises led by an elite team of ex-Special Forces operatives.

“In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents,” the synopsis for the show reads. “Viewers see the recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities’ deepest and truest character.”

Nastia Quit ‘Special Forces’ Early After Being Accused Of Receiving ‘Special Treatment’

Nastia decided to quit the show after British-American former freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy told her that she received special treatment during a task where she had to be submerged in a car underwater and hold her breath for twenty seconds. She had someone sit next to her while she completed the task because she was worried a previous injury would inhibit her ability to breathe underwater.

In an interview with E! News after her exit, Nastia admitted, “I definitely did let somebody’s words get to me,” adding, “I let someone else’s thoughts about me dictate my worth and dictate the internal progress and the breakthroughs and that mental strength that I thought I had found and made to that point.”

‘I do believe that I did leave because my integrity was at stake’

“I do believe that I did leave because my integrity was at stake and I don’t take that lightly,” she continued. “I didn’t win the Olympics with special treatment and I didn’t want to receive any special treatment. Now, I do realize I allowed my own perception of myself to be impacted by other people’s words.”

That being said, she doesn’t blame Gus or anyone else on the show for anything that was said. “We were all laughing about no sleep and poor nutrition. I don’t blame anybody for what they said,” she continued. “I just hold myself accountable for how I reacted to the words.”

Nastia Liukin Learned An Important Lesson From Her Time On ‘Special Forces’

After the show aired on television, however, Nastia does wonder how she would have performed on the tasks that she missed out on.

“After months of thinking about this, obviously, I think it’s a lesson I’ve learned,” she said. “We can’t go back in time and we can’t change anything.”
