Dr Nandipha Opens Assault Case Against Correctional Services Department
Police have confirmed that embattled doctor Dr. Nandipha Magudumana has opened an assault case against the Correctional Services Department.
It is a new set of drama surrounding Dr. Nandipha Magudumana. According to reports, the doctor claims she was assaulted by the Correctional Services Department at the Kroonstad facility where she is being held. She was said to have been admitted to the facility’s hospital wing.

The Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court reportedly faced drama on Wednesday during the Thabo Bester hearing. It was said that Bester and his co-accused made a brief appearance due to delays from his lover and alleged partner-in-crime Nandipha Magudumana, who fell ill and did not appear.
Dr Nandipha remained in the holding cells while the case was being heard. She was also reported to have undressed herself while being transported from prison in Kroonstad. Amanda Bester, Senior Prosecutor, confirmed to the court that the State was informed about Nandipha’s ill health.
Dr. Nandipha’s common assault case was confirmed by Free State Police, who revealed that it was registered at Parkweg police station. Spokesperson Brig Motantsi Makhele stated the case would be transferred to Kroonstad Detective Services for investigation.
