Mzansi rapper Emtee has been one of the most talked-about artists on the scene this year. Emtee’s marriage has dominated the news, and it hasn’t all been pretty. The rap star separated from his wife, who accused him of assault.

The rapper has also been putting in work with the music, collaborating with several artists and prepping for the release of his next album. The rap star recently took to social media to announce that he is 10 Years Sober. He wrote, “Mane, I’m proud of myself. 10 years sober from alcohol. That thing is the devil.”

Emtee also announced his next event, “Emtee & Friends,” scheduled to happen on September 23. The show will feature performances by Maglera Doe Boy, Nadia Nakai, Sjava, 25k, Loatinover Pounds, Majorsteez, Pearl Thusi, and more. It promises to be the concert of the season.
