Nadia Nakai worries before dating AKA

Nadia Nakai opens up about how she worried about her relationship with AKA.

The relationship made headlines after it came to limelight as the rapper left Cassper Nyovest’s record label shortly before the relationship was announced.

She was worried about losing fans, and she didn’t want the incident with AKA’s ex, Anele Tembe to cause chaos.

Speaking about her thoughts and worries, she said to Zingah:

“There were a lot of factors that came into play. I was worried I would lose fans because I thought my fans were because of Refiloe [Cassper]. I didn’t realise my fans were my fans. They stuck with me and I’ve grown more, but I was concerned about that, my fans, that they were going to turn against me, what were people going to say, and with Kiernan coming out of what he had gone through. I was also concerned about that, is it too soon, does he need time?”

The relationship lasted a couple of years till AKA got shot and killed in Durban on the 10th of February, 2023.

The family of the late rapper took Nadia as their daughter and people are amazed at how nice the family are to the rapper.
