He alleged that Peter Obi is intolerant to other Nigerians who are Muslims, and that if Obi had won the election, Nigerians would have been in serious trouble because of Obi’s attitude. He said this during an interview with Symfoni News which was also reported by Sahara Reporters.

He accused Peter Obi of being a pretender, and said that the former Anambra State governor is not someone that should be allowed to lead Nigeria.

He said that he observed that 12 Labour Party governorship candidates contested in the last election across the country, and that he was the only Muslim among them. He said that the party’s governorship candidate in Sokoto defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) because Peter Obi did not introduce him when they went for campaigns, and did not make him relevant.

Speaking further, he said that Obi did the same thing to the party’s governorship candidate in Taraba State and his running mate, and also did that in Kano too, and that it was the reason they left the party even before the election because of Obi’s attitude.

He said – “The Peter Obi that you know is a deceit; the Peter Obi that you know is a pretender. All the bigots of this world is (sic) Peter Obi, because he is not someone that should be trusted with the leadership of this country. Glory be to God Almighty that did not allow him to win the election. If he had won, Nigerians would have been in a serious problem because of his attitude.

“What I observed is this, I may be wrong, 12 of us contested for that election, 12 Labour Party governorship candidates in the whole country. You know some states did not go into the contest at that time. But 12 of us, I was the only one who happened to be Muslim. But I observed that during the campaigns, the candidate of Sokoto, the governorship candidate, decamped to APC because when he went for campaign, he did not introduce him.”

Peter Obi lost the presidential election to the APC candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, having come a distant third in the race, although he claimed that he won the election but the process was rigged against him.
