They reported that The Kano state New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Transition Committee has raised alarm by accusing the outgoing State governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s administration of allegedly undermining the transition process to the incoming administration of governor-elect Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The Chairman of the NNPP Transition Committee, Professor Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, disclosed this while addressing a press conference at Their Guest Palace.

He stated that the Ganduje administration has shown outright resistance and lack of cooperation since the formation of the NNPP Gubernatorial transition committee by Governor-elect Abba Kabir Yusuf.

According to him, the active government is proposing a board where they have 82% of the individuals (14 individuals) and requesting that the approaching government designate just 18% (three individuals),” which they saw as unsatisfactory. Continue Reading….

Talking further Prof Bichi said “There are three sorts of progress: one, from one government to itself; two, starting with one government then onto the next legislature of a similar ideological group; and three, starting with one government then onto the next administration of an alternate ideological group,” he made sense of.

“In the third case, where there are different ideological groups, a different change council is set up for the approaching government.”

Bichi expressed that the NNPP progress council set up 33 subcommittees, yet none of the boards of trustees got collaboration from the Ganduje organization.

Prof Bichi then, at that point, blamed Lead Representative Ganduje for moving all state super durable secretaries as a feature of his work to subvert the progress cycle in Kano.

The NNPP Progress Council approached all equitable organizations to persuade Lead representative Ganduje to help out the change advisory group and regard the decision of individuals of Kano who chose Abba Kabir Yusuf.
