While not quite on the same level in terms of size compared to the other amusement parks on this list Chimelong Water Park is as said in the name a Water Park, and a big one at that. Known as the largest water park on the planet Chimelong boasts an impressive 5 roller coasters and over 50 water slides throughout the park. Similar to other amusement parks Chimelong is split into 7 distinct zones each with its own rides, themes, and atmospheres. This waterpark is the biggest amusement park in China and brings in over 2.74 million visitors every year, which for a park of this size, and a waterpark at that is absolutely insane. This waterpark is great for visitors of all ages and has without a doubt earned its place on this list.

It is not a surprise to see one of these absolute giants here on this list, Disneyland is perhaps the first thing that comes to mind when you think of amusement parks. The Paris branch of Disneyland is no exception sitting at a massive 2230 hectares (8.61 mi2) this Disneyland is the biggest amusement park in Europe and one of the top tourist attractions in the entirety of France. Containing hundreds of attractions and multiple roller coasters and rides such as hyperspace mountain Disneyland is so large it takes multiple days to explore the entire thing. The park also contains two distinct theme parks, seven hotels, and even a golf course, it really has it all. This theme park takes in up to 15 million visitors annually as is open year-round, this park is without a doubt one of the largest theme parks on the planet.

As a shocker to absolutely no one Walt Disney World resort in Orlando Florida is by far the biggest amusement park on the planet. Encompassing 25000 acres or 39 mi2 Walt Disney World has no equal. Containing 4 different theme parks, two distinct waterparks, 31 themed hotels, 9 non-themed hotels, several golf courses, a camping resort, an outdoor shopping center, and many other attractions the park is a behemoth. The park is a federally regulated no-fly zone over the top, shared only by military bases and parts of Washington DC. The park hires over 77 thousand employees to man all of the attractions across the park and welcomes over 59 million visitors every year. The complex has two different solar fields and still consumes over 1 billion kilowatt hours of electricity each year costing an estimated 100 million dollars annually. Without a doubt, Walt Disney World Resort is the single biggest amusement park in the entire world with no sign of any contenders in sight.

Announced to be the biggest indoor inflatable park in the world Bounce Empire is trying to bring a new spin to the amusement park formula. Boasting an impressive roster of over 50 inflatables including more than 1000 feet of obstacle courses, 12 massive slides, and dozens of games bounce empire seems to have something for everyone. In addition, the venue offers an adult-only lounge with an included bar, a full high-quality restaurant, and two next-generation theaters. Opening in March of 2023 Bounce Empire promises to be a fresh take on the amusement park formula and personally, I can’t wait to visit myself.
