iPhone 14 Review – Variants And Price
The recently launched iPhone 14 is on sale from the release date of September 16. The 128 GB – 6 GB variant is available at Rs.70,999, and the 256 GB – 6 GB variant at Rs.81,999. However, at the time of writing this iPhone 14 review, the 512 GB – 6 GB variant was out of stock so the actual price cannot be known. According to some reports, the 512 GB – 6 GB variant is priced between 1 lakh and 1 lakh five thousand.
iPhone 14 Review – Unboxing
The next step in the iPhone 14 review comes with the unboxing of the handset. The minimal packing by Apple only contains the bare minimum stuff. The box is a two-piece white container of a similar size to the phone. Inside the box, you will find the 1 meter-long USB Type C to lightning cable, a sim ejector tool, apple stickers, and some papers.
iPhone 14 Review – Build Quality And Display
Apple smartphones are known for their premium build quality and aesthetic looks. During the iPhone 14 review, we found out that the frame is made from an aluminium frame and corning-made glass in the front and back with IP68 dust/water resistance. The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display of the handset is the best in terms of quality, viewing angles, vibrance, and detailing.

The iPhone 14 comes with a dual camera setup at the back and a single front-facing camera. iPhone 14 Review – Performance
During the iPhone 14 review, we observed that it is the same A15 Bionic Chip used in the iphone13 Pro with a slight change in graphic performance using a 5-Core GPU. While testing, we played multiple games including NBA 2K in which the phone delivered consistent performance. Also, while gaming, it did not get too hot, showing that it is optimised to withstand heating issues.
iPhone 14 Review – Battery Life And Charging Time
At the time of the iPhone 14 review, we did continuous 5G web surfing at 150 nits brightness, and the battery lasted for 9 hours 30 minutes beating Samsung Galaxy S22 and Google Pixel. iPhone 14 has a 20W charger which you have to purchase from the outside. The charging speed is pretty good, mobile reached 52% in 30 minutes which is beyond Apple’s 50% claim.
iPhone 14 Review – It Is Worth The Purchase?
We have done the iPhone 14 review and concluded that it is the best phone for most individuals, however, it is not that good. Apple has done upgrades like adding an always-on display, and some UI changes but everything looks similar. Paying such a huge amount for the minimal upgrades is not a wise decision, going with the lower versions of Apple products like iPhone 12 or iphone 13 would be a better decision.
