There’s a storm brewing over the snow covered mountains of Pine Bluff that has nothing to do with the weather! A passionate romance is hindered by a stalking shadow that wants nothing more than revenge. Mountain Blaze by Debby Grahl is an unputdownable contemporary western romance with suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat!
Diana’s a wealthy city girl who’s always immaculately dressed in designer clothes and doesn’t own a pair of sensible boots. Dillon is a drop-dead handsome, rodeo-Romeo cowboy. The two of them have nothing in common, well except for the fact that both their ex’s are only worthy of the trash can. Despite that, their attraction is instant and over the span of just a few days their passion is unstoppable and intense.
With hot nights and cold snowy days the setting is idyllic and Debby Grahl does a marvelous job of describing both the countryside and the characters. The family at ‘Ranch Lazy M’ is the type of family you just want to be a part of, and Pine Bluff is a place I’d love to visit. The suspense plot is great and by the third attempt at Dillon’s life I was on the edge of my seat. Who cut the hole in the fence? Who took a shot at Dillon, and who wants to buy the ranch? But most importantly, can Diana and Dillon overcome their differences and take a shot at being happy together?
Debby Grahl has woven an engaging, memorable and unputdownable suspenseful story for the holidays or for any day; it is so good that just the romance alone would be enough to make this a great addictive story, but the suspense and murder mystery just add to its excellence. Mountain Blaze by Debby Grahl is definitely an award worthy novel that you will want to curl up on the sofa with! We can’t wait for book 2 in the Carolina Series. Mountain Blaze by Debby Grahl comes highly recommended by Chick Lit Café.
