Long before the announcement of the ‘Best Actress’ winner at the 2024 Oscars, three of the nominees in the category shared a heartfelt moment.

Emma Stone, star of ‘Poor Things,’ Annette Bening, lead actress in ‘Nyad’ and Lily Gladstone, from ‘Killers of the Flower Moon,’ were seen embracing emotionally during a commercial break at the 96th Academy Awards.

At one point, Margot Robbie joined the trio. Many fans and critics believe she was overlooked for a ‘Best Actress’ nomination. Although not part of the hug, the other two ‘Best Actress’ nominees — Sandra Hüller for ‘Anatomy of a Fall’ and Carey Mulligan for ‘Maestro’ — were also present at the ceremony.

Later in the evening, Stone emerged victorious, winning the ‘Best Actress’ award.

The award season has fostered a unique bond among the ‘Best Actress’ nominees, especially between Stone and Gladstone. In Vanity Fair’s 2024 Hollywood Issue, Gladstone revealed that she and Stone have become “fast friends” and even have matching friendship rings, which they affectionately call their “Infinity Stones.”

Gladstone shared, “Then she sent me a picture of her wearing the same one. That’s our thing. We call each other Infinity Stones.” She also mentioned to the Washington Post, “I’m getting all these sweet texts from her. Or when we need to vent about stuff. It’s a very sweet friendship.”
