“I guess you can add mother to my resume,” Grimes said in her caption. The Y&R star also revealed that the baby is set to arrive in December 2023, so she’s clearly excited along with her partner, Brock Foster Powell.

Of course, Camryn Grimes isn’t the only actress on Y&R who’s had a bun in the oven lately. Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson) recently gave birth to her second child – and Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) is pregnant with a family addition as well.

It didn’t take long for fans and Grimes’ costars to congratulate her after her pregnancy post. Some viewers have even joked about something being in the water since so many baby updates are coming from behind the scenes.

Egan, Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Baldwin), Melissa Ordway (Abby Abbott-Newman) and Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair Williams) all offered some congratulatory comments.

Greg Rikaart (Kevin Fisher), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton-Winters), Rory Gibson (Noah Newman) and Sasha Calle (ex-Lola Rosales) also let Grimes know how happy they were for her following her announcement.

Grimes has always been vocal about her love for children, so we have no doubt that she’ll be an amazing mom! This is certainly something to celebrate, so we wish her the best of luck on the rest of pregnancy journey.

Naturally, Grimes has been getting in some good practice through her role as Mariah, who’s a new mom to Aria Porter-Copeland (Maddie and Millie Ingle) along with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

Since Camryn Grimes’ pregnancy obviously won’t be written in, the show will presumably just rely on the usual ginormous bags and clever angles to conceal her growing baby bump.
