General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Josh Swickard (Harrison Case) has a fun connection to a new cast addition. Lauren Swickard is Josh’s real-life wife and will be making her debut as Janice during the week of August 7-11 according to SOD.

It turns out Janice is a nurse at Ferncliff, so she’ll be part of Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) harrowing storyline. Sadly, things may have to get worse for Sasha before they get better.

Sasha is currently stuck in restraints and being drugged into oblivion thanks to Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder), who’s working with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to keep all their twisted secrets under wraps.

It’s clear that Sasha could use some help, so will Nurse Janice pick up on anything suspicious? Could Janice prove to be an ally when Sasha needs one the most?

Regardless, it looks like Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are about to carry out a rescue mission of some sort. That could involve relying on Janice for assistance or duping her if need be.

As for Lauren Swickard, there’s no word on how many appearances she’ll make as Janice, but it’ll be exciting to see her join her husband on the same show.

It’d be great if Chase could investigate at Ferncliff and share scenes with Janice at some point.

It could happen if Chase shows up to see Sasha or perhaps gets a phone call about something shady going on.

Josh Swickard actually met Lauren on the set of a movie called Roped, so they know all about sharing the screen together.

The Swickards also teamed up on Netflix’s A California Christmas and its sequel, A California Christmas: City Lights.

No matter how these new GH scenes play out, fans will want to give Lauren Swickard a warm welcome now that this casting news has been revealed.
