The new tune is the latest track to be taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album ‘KILLJOY’, set to arrive on September 08 via Chess Club Records.

‘What’s The Point In Life’ might have a nihilistic message on the surface, but the band’s drummer Guy Page has described its real intention and how it came about, saying:

“We set out to write an opening track for ‘KILLJOY’, and ‘We’re All Gonna Die’ – as it was initially named – was almost fully formed that afternoon. It’s not really a negative sentiment, but is more our way of saying that life is for living.

“So, do what you wanna do, we’ll do what we wanna do, and then everyone’s happy. We ultimately share the same fate, so make your life your own.”

As well as their first appearance at Glastonbury, Coach Party supported Queens Of The Stone Age on tour, which included dates in Halifax, Margate and Lyon.

Coach Party are hitting the road for their own headline tour later this year – see the full dates below, and visit the band’s site for more info and tickets.
