India’s Best Dancer 3 on Sony Entertainment Television will celebrate the 76th anniversary of Indian Independence this weekend with a special episode called “Azaadi Ki Kahani” in which the contestants and their choreographers pay homage to the country through patriotic dance. This special show will feature the ‘Ghoomer’ main cast, Abhishek Bachchan as well as Saiyami Kher, and will evoke the sense of patriotism through spellbinding deeds. In addition to this, renowned vocalists Mahalaxmi Iyer, Bikram Ghosh, Kavita Seth, Shaan, and Hariharan will be in attendance to promote their new single, “Yeh Desh,” further elevating the performance.

The charming banter between Sonali Bendre and Abhishek Bachchan, two longtime friends, will be one of the evening’s highlights. Abhishek Bachchan made the amusing statement, “My Bhabhi Sonali is sitting exactly next to me,” when discussing this memory. I selected Goldie as her husband for her. I wasn’t their actual Cupid, but I did talk to Goldie when he was filming the Sonali Bendre-starring movie Angaaray.
