At the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023, which were presented on Monday at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor triumphed.
For her portrayal of the famous protagonist Gangubai in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” Alia was chosen best actress, and Ranbir was nominated for best actor for “Brahmastra.”
Ranbir did not attend the event. Alia accepted the award on behalf of Ranbir. For “Bhediya,” Varun Dhawan got the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor. The Best Film award went to “The Kashmir Files” by Vivek Agnihotri. Anupam Kher won the prize for the year’s most versatile actor for this movie.
Neetu Kapoor can be happy because two awards have come to her house. Neetu posted a screenshot of the recipients on her Instagram story.

Varun Dhawan also shared his story snippets from the evening and his award.
Anupam Kher tweeted a lengthy message that said, “For awarding me the title of “Most Versatile Actor of the Year” for my roles in “The Kashmir Files,” “Kartikeya 2,” and “Uunchai,” I am grateful to the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival. I dedicate this honour to the 38 years of adoring support I have received from my audiences. I’ll keep working hard and dreaming. Very happy that “The Kashmir Files” won the “Best Film” award. Jai Ho!”
The festival strives to recognise and support emerging projects by introducing them to general audiences in order to showcase the excellence of the Indian cinema industry.
Sahil Khan, Natalia Barulich, Jayantilal Gada, Sachet, Parampara, Vivek Agnihotri, Varun Dhawan, Ronit Roy, Shreyas Talpade, R Balki, Shetty, and Hariharan were among the other celebrities that attended the event.

Sachet Tandon for Maiyya Mainu won for best male singer.
Neeti Mohan of Meri Jaan won for best female singer.
The best director of photography was PS Vinod for Vikram Vedha.
Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is the best web series.
