Manoj Bajpayee has returned to OTT with his most recent project, Gulmohar. The renowned Sharmila Tagore makes her long-awaited comeback in the Family drama film. The new movie, which follows the saga of a chaotic Indian family, now has a trailer.

Story.

A sizable family gathering takes place in a lavish home at the start of the trailer. At the party, characters played by Bajpaye and Tagore as well as other household members are seen having a good time. The latter character then declares that she needs to have a crucial conversation with the members of her immediate family. She also tells her family she has bought a little residence in Pendicherry and will be relocating there going forward.

Moving on, Bajpayee appears to be quite disorganised and restless with his family, particularly his son. The delicate nature of the father-son connection is also hinted at in the teaser. The actor continues to bemoan the lack of contact with his family, saying, “Sometimes I feel like nobody in my family knows anyone. When an old will emerges in front of everyone, the ongoing argument has the form of a major family quarrel.

Additionally, despite having spent so much time together, the family members’ dysfunction is chronicled in the trailer.

Arpita Mukherjee along with Rahul collaborated on the Gulmohar screenplay, and Siddhartha Khosla composed the music for the movie. The Only Murders and This Is Us in the Building soundtracks were created by the Emmy-nominated composer. March 3 marks the debut of Gulmohar on Disney+ Hotstar.

Manoj Bajpayee has become a big name of OTT in recent years. His ‘The Family Man’ series has been one of the most anticipated series. Fans are waiting for the third season of ‘The Family Man’. After 13 years, veteran performer Sharmila is making a comeback in the movies. Her most recent appearance was in Deepika Padukone as well as Imran Khan’s Break Ke Baad (2010) directed by Danish Aslam. Manoj has also starred in the movies Despatch and Joram.
