THE FEMALE FRAUD FORUM AND CFAAR TEAM UP WITH RENOWNED DIGITAL ARTIST NANDA KHIARA TO HOST ‘NFTs: LAW AND THE WORLD OF DIGITAL ART’

Members of the Female Fraud Forum (FFF), the Crypto Fraud and Asset Recovery Network (CFAAR), NFT creatives and investors, and other legal and investigation professionals will descend on the iconic Oriental Club in Mayfair on Tuesday 17 October where they will hear from an expert panel discussing the latest use cases, caselaw and commercial practice in the fast-evolving arena of digital art.

The English High Court has been at the forefront of developing caselaw on digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies in recent years, and in 2022 extended protections to investors of NFTs by recognising them as ‘property’, providing proprietary interim remedies to those impacted by NFT fraud.

Kindly sponsored by law firm CMS, the panel will be moderated by Josie Welland of the Female Fraud Forum, and will feature panelists Rachel Muldoon, Barrister at Maitland Chambers, Ben Hitchens, Partner at CMS, as well as digital artist Nanda Khiara, a multi-dimensional artist living and working in London.

The panel will be followed by a networking reception, and 10 attendees will have the opportunity to win some of Nanda’s artwork, from her new series “Cherry Blossom Chronicles”.

Commenting on the upcoming event, Nanda Khiara said: “I look forward to discussing NFTs, Law and the future of art in the web3 and blockchain space.”
