Mother’s Day gifts are challenging – for both the giver and the receiver. What does my mom want? What do I want? Who counts as a mother and needs a gift? Can the Gift be not having to plan any of it?
Several years ago I wrote What Mom’s of Young Kids Really Want for Mother’s Day and I still stand behind all of these intangible things as Mother’s Day gifts – like closing a drawer if you open it *exhale*. Sometimes as moms – this simple gift – cleaning up after yourself is more meaningful than a diamond tiara*.
