The Kadapa Parliament election in Andhra Pradesh is making headlines in Telugu states due to recent controversies.

MP Avinash Reddy’s name came up in Vivekananda Reddy’s charge sheet by the CBI. Over the past five years, Kadapa has seen several changes. Avinash Reddy won in 2014 and 2019 and is contesting again.

This time, Sharmila Reddy, YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s daughter and PCC President, is directly challenging her brother, CM Jaganmohan Reddy. She faces Avinash Reddy, fielded by Jagan, for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat. Sharmila, who campaigned for Jagan’s party in 2019, is now against it.

The TDP entered with Bhupesh Reddy, hoping to benefit from the YSRCP vote split. If Sharmila and Avinash split votes, the TDP might win.

Sharmila and Sunita, against Avinash’s candidacy, campaign against him. Viveka’s influence in Kadapa is helping their campaign in certain areas.
