Malayalam Cinema is shining and how. From time and again, Malayalam Cinema is punching above its weight and proving to the world it is a special industry. Despite budget limitations, despite budget recovery limitations, the Malayalam industry has been proving one thing – story and new ideas have no limitations.

In the past 45 days, three out-of-the-box entertainers came from the Malayalam industry and all three of them turned out to be huge blockbusters. It was first Bramayugam starring Mammootty in the lead role and then Manjummel Boys turned out to be a sensation. These two movies collected more than Rs. 100 Crores each at the Box Office.

Now, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s The Goat Life was released. This survival thriller has been receiving positive reviews. The Goat Life is expected to collect around Rs. 13 – Rs. 14 Crores at the BO on the first day. Though in Telugu, the film has a slow start, it is expected to pick up over the weekend.
