Jaahnavi Kandula, a 23-year-old Indian Student who was pursuing a Master’s in the US was killed in a road accident after a Police vehicle ran over her. The incident happened in January 2023. The bodycam footage of Police Officer Kevin Dave who drove the car captured the accident. After the unfortunate incident, he was heard saying “I f**ked up”. He was overspeeding at the time of the accident and it came to know that Kevin Dave’s driver’s license was suspended in the year 2018.

Now, another bodycam footage turned viral of another officer related to the same incident. Danie Auderer, the vice president of the Seattle Police Officers Guild after inspecting the accident was heard stating ’Just a regular person. Just write a check. 11,000 dollars. She was 26 anyway. She had limited value.’

He was also laughing describing the incident to guild president Mike Solan. The bodycam also recorded the words, “I mean, he was going 50 mph. That’s not out of control. That’s not reckless for a trained driver.” However, Dave was reportedly speeding at 74 mph in a 25 mph zone.
