Director Vetrimaaran is one of the most critically acclaimed directors of Kollywood. He has made some classics like Asuran, Vada Chennai, etc., and Vetrimaaran has recently directed Viduthalai Part 1 which was released in Tamil on March 31st, 2023. In Telugu, the movie is going to have a dubbed release as well. The film is titled Vidudala Part 1 and will be released on April 15th, 2023.

Vetrimaaran was asked about the project with NTR. There were speculations that NTR and Vetrimaaran are going to work together very soon. When the media questioned, Vetrimaaran answered that the project is definitely on. “We met NTR and discussed a project. It will be there but will take time,” he answered.
Vetrimaaran is next making Vaadivaasal with Suriya in the lead role.
