Akkineni Nagarjuna has given the chance to writer Bezawada Prasanna Kumar to introduce him as the director. They choose a remake for the same. They intended to remake the Malayalam film Porinju Mariam Jose but the problem here is that the remake rights of the film were with Abhishek Agarwal, the producer of The Kashmir Files.

Abhishek Agarwal wanted to remake this project with another hero and director but Nagarjuna came forward to settle the issue. Annapurna Studios and Abhishek Agarwal Arts will be jointly producing the project and the distribution rights of the film in the other languages are vested with Abhishek Agarwal.

Now, as the rights issue was solved, the project is all set to go for the launch. An official confirmation will come in a couple of days.
