A young Ghanaian man elicited amusing reactions online after a video of him at the Tamale Cooking Marathon venue went viral.

The bare-chested, well-built man was heard calling out the name of Failatu Abdul-Razak, the Ghanaian chef, on a mission to break the record for the longest cooking time held by an individual.
He bemoaned the fact that he arrived at the venue on an empty stomach, expecting to be served food.
