śāntaṁ padmāsanasthaṁ śaśidharamakuṭaṁ pañcavaktraṁ trinētraṁ |
śūlaṁ vajraṁ ca khaḍgaṁ paraśumabhayadaṁ dakṣabhāgē vahantaṁ |
nāgaṁ pāśaṁ ca ghaṇṭāṁ pralaya hutavahaṁ sāṅkuśaṁ vāmabhāgē |
nānālaṅkārayuktaṁ sphaṭikamaṇinibhaṁ pārvatīśaṁ namāmi ||

dūrvāsa uvācha

praṇamya śirasā dēvaṁ svayambhuṁ paramēśvaraṁ |
ēkaṁ sarvagataṁ dēvaṁ sarvadēvamayaṁ vibhum || 1 ||

rudra varma pravakṣyāmi aṅga prāṇasya rakṣayē |
ahōrātramayaṁ dēvaṁ rakṣārthaṁ nirmitaṁ purā || 2 ||

rudrō mē jāgrataḥ pātu pātu pārśvau harastathā |
śirō mē īśvaraḥ pātu lalāṭaṁ nīlalōhitaḥ || 3 ||

nētrayōstryambakaḥ pātu mukhaṁ pātu mahēśvaraḥ |
karṇayōḥ pātu mē śambhuḥ nāsikāyāṁ sadāśivaḥ || 4 ||

vāgīśaḥ pātu mē jihvāṁ ōṣṭhau pātvambikāpatiḥ |
śrīkaṇṭhaḥ pātu mē grīvāṁ bāhūn-ścaiva pinākadhr̥t || 5 ||

hr̥dayaṁ mē mahādēvaḥ īśvarōvyāt stanāntaraṁ |
nābhiṁ kaṭiṁ ca vakṣaśca pātu sarvaṁ umāpatiḥ || 6 ||

bāhumadhyāntaraṁ caiva sūkṣma rūpassadāśivaḥ |
svaraṁ rakṣatu sarvēśō gātrāṇi ca yathā kramam || 7 ||

vajraśaktidharaṁ caiva pāśāṅkuśadharaṁ tathā |
gaṇḍaśūladharaṁ nityaṁ rakṣatu tridaśēśvaraḥ || 8 ||

prastānēṣu padē caiva vr̥kṣamūlē nadītaṭē |
sandhyāyāṁ rājabhavanē virūpākṣastu pātu mām || 9 ||

śītōṣṇā dathakālēṣu tuhinadrumakaṇṭakē |
nirmanuṣyē samē mārgē pāhi māṁ vr̥ṣabhadhvaja || 10 ||

ityētaddrudrakavacaṁ pavitraṁ pāpanāśanaṁ |
mahādēva prasādēna dūrvāsa munikalpitam || 11 ||

mamākhyātaṁ samāsēna na bhayaṁ tēnavidyatē |
prāpnōti paramā:’rōgyaṁ puṇyamāyuṣyavardhanam || 12 ||

vidyārthī labhatē vidyāṁ dhanārthī labhatē dhanaṁ |
kanyārthī labhatē kanyāṁ na bhayaṁ vindatē kvacit || 13 ||

aputrō labhatē putraṁ mōkṣārthī mōkṣamāpnuyāt |
trāhi trāhi mahādēva trāhi trāhi trayīmaya || 14 ||

trāhimāṁ pārvatīnātha trāhimāṁ tripurantaka |
pāśaṁ khaṭvāṅga divyāstraṁ triśūlaṁ rudramēva ca || 15 ||

namaskarōmi dēvēśa trāhi māṁ jagadīśvara |
śatrumadhyē sabhāmadhyē grāmamadhyē gr̥hāntarē || 16 ||

gamanāgamanē caiva trāhi māṁ bhaktavatsala |
tvaṁ citvamāditaścaiva tvaṁ buddhistvaṁ parāyaṇam || 17 ||

karmaṇāmanasā caiva tvaṁ buddhiśca yathā sadā |
sarva jvara bhayaṁ chindi sarva śatrūnnivaktyāya || 18 ||

sarva vyādhinivāraṇaṁ rudralōkaṁ sa gacchati
rudralōkaṁ sagacchatyōnnamaḥ ||

iti skandapurāṇē dūrvāsa prōktaṁ śrī rudra kavachaṁ sampūrṇam ||
